On September 1, the Vietnam Musicians Association in Thanh Hoa and the Music Department (Provincial Literature and Arts Association) organized a program to celebrate Vietnam Music Day (September 3) with the theme "Aspirations for Thanh land". This is also an activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

On September 3, 1960, in Hanoi, Uncle Ho conducted the orchestra, choir and the people of the capital to sing the Song of Solidarity to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the 3rd National Party Congress. On September 26, 2014, the Prime Minister issued a Decision to make September 3 every year Vietnam Music Day.

The Thanh Hoa Province Vietnamese Musicians Association and the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association's Music Board currently have over 60 active members. Among them, there are many musicians who have devoted their whole lives to composing, researching and discovering the beauty of traditional music and Thanh music, such as musicians Van Hoe; Hoang Hai; Mai Kien; Xuan Lien; Dong Tam; Trong Bich; Thanh Nhung. And the love of music of Thanh musicians is still being continued by generations of musicians The Viet; Do Hoai Nam; Doan Dung; Huy Can; Xuan Hieu...

With the theme “Thanh Aspiration”, the commemorative program introduced 12 musical works - these are works written by musicians recently, expressing love for the homeland, the country, and the beautiful Thanh land; joining hands to contribute effort, intelligence, and sublimate emotions to praise life.
