Dan Truong admitted that this was the first time he used AI technology, so "Em oi vi dau" was not as expected. The male singer's team will release a new version of the MV.
In recent days, Dan Truong's new MV has become the center of attention and received mixed opinions. This is the male singer's first MV made using AI technology. However, the majority of the audience believes that the visual aspect of the MV is too awkward, stiff, unnatural and does not create emotions for the viewer. In addition, the MV's setting is also not suitable for the content and melody of a folk song like Em oi vi dau . By the afternoon of July 9, the number of dislikes for the MV was 6,800, nearly 3 times higher than the number of likes.
Recently, on his personal page, Dan Truong spoke up about the controversial product. He said: “It’s been a long time since Dan Truong sang folk music from the Southwest region, and it’s a song that he really likes. Like every time, if he doesn’t film an MV, the crew just makes an audio version with an additional photo and sound. But this time, the crew spent more than two months applying AI technology to the MV to make the song more vivid and emotional. Maybe this time is the first step, not satisfied yet, but everyone can rest assured that in 1-2 years, AI technology will make Dan Truong’s image 100% real.”

In addition, the male singer's representative also said that in the next few weeks, the new version of the MV Em oi vi dau with the participation of Dan Truong will be released. The manager added that with the released AI version, the images are not as vivid and beautiful as the outside, but the crew has pioneered the application of new technology. The crew wants to dedicate this MV to the audience and fans.
Previously, when releasing the MV AI, Dan Truong shared: "The most difficult part of making the MV is using AI to create motion, because current tools only support creating 4-second videos at a time. To create a 4-second short clip, we need to use from 4 to 16 images. My team and I used different AI tools to create more than 600 images."
