In the past half term, the cultural sector continued to receive attention and achieved outstanding results, contributing to the success, completion and exceeding the targets of the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2020-2025 term.

Many targets exceeded
In the 7 main targets in the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2020-2025, the fields of culture; sports; party members, civil servants, and public employees participating in studying the Party's directives and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws; admitting 10 new party members; 100% of party members completing and completing their annual tasks well... were all achieved, in which the target on culture was far exceeded. Currently, the number of new rural cultural communes has reached 76.5% (term resolution over 80%), 87% of wards have met urban civilization standards (term resolution over 85%); nearly 69% of hamlets in the area have cultural houses and sports areas meeting standards (term resolution over 70%).
In particular, the target of over 90% of the total number of families in the province meeting the cultural family standard is now over 93%. This outstanding result shows the consistent, in-depth direction and special attention to the cultural field, creating a wide spread, consensus, unanimity and joint implementation of the people. The titles of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" are increasingly receiving the satisfaction of the people, because each step goes into substance, helping people realize their responsibility and awareness to join in, join hands and contribute to building their homeland to be more and more prosperous and civilized.
Mark in expertise
One of the highlights in the professional fields over the past 2 years is the work of propaganda and visual agitation. The results include staging 13 propaganda scripts, performing over 400 shows, attracting over 202,000 viewers; printing and installing nearly 20,000 square meters of various billboards, hanging over 33,000 flags and banners of various types on holidays, New Year, and peak propaganda periods... The Provincial Cultural Center also builds quality art programs, performing for nearly 200,000 audiences, taking the initiative in organizing competitions and performances, building and consolidating the framework club system, to support units in the system to improve the quality of activities; building programs and scripts to participate in regional and national competitions and performances...
Library work is also a bright spot, contributing to the success of the sector in this half-term. Ms. Le Thi Thuy Duong, Director of the Provincial Library, shared: “The unit has focused on adding new books, digitizing documents and improving services for people by applying technology; upgrading the quality of the remaining 5 commune-level reading rooms to libraries, to reach 100% of commune and ward libraries in the whole province. The highlight is also the flexibility in attracting readers through the exhibition model, serving books on mobile vehicles to nearly 90 schools in the whole province; creating a widespread influence from the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, attracting more and more students in the whole province. Selecting excellent entries to compete at the national level, won 2 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes...”.
Mr. Le Cong Khanh, Party Secretary, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized: “In the remaining half of the term, we will continue to focus on building a clean and strong grassroots party organization; improving the quality of advisory work, leadership and management effectiveness, building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements to complete the tasks of the industry. For each task, we have solutions to implement, ensuring the completion and surpassing of the set targets. To do this, we need solidarity and joint efforts. In particular, from now until the end of the year, it is the peak of propaganda work as well as organizing activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's establishment".
