Overcoming difficulties

According to the A Luoi District Party Committee Organizing Committee, according to the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, the average target for admitting new party members is 150-170 party members/year. In the first half of the term, the number of new party members was low, not reaching the set plan. From 2023 to early 2025, with the implementation of many synchronous solutions, A Luoi has increased the number of new party members, of which in 2024, the entire District Party Committee admitted 192 new party members. As of March 2025, the entire District Party Committee had admitted 709 party members, nearly reaching the target of 750 party members set for the term.

According to Mr. Tran Truong Cung, Deputy Head of the Organization Board of A Luoi District Party Committee, in addition to focusing on leadership and direction, the solution that helped A Luoi increase the number of new party members in recent times was thanks to good coordination with agencies and units to compile statistics and correctly identify sources of admission. From there, specialized conferences on party development were organized among ethnic minorities and in schools. Through these conferences, political and ideological education and awareness of the Party for outstanding people were strengthened, helping to increase the rate of party membership admission in the education sector, village and hamlet chiefs.

In Quang Dien district, the target for party development in the 2020-2025 term is 300 party members. As of March 2025, the entire district Party Committee has completed this target. It is expected that in the coming time, before the district-level operation model no longer exists, the district Party Committee will admit about 20-30 new party members.

Mr. Le Van Khuyen, member of the District Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of Quang Dien District Party Committee, said that although it is a plain district, like other localities, the source of recruitment in the district is facing many difficulties. Young people in the area go to work far away; the source of teachers in the district is also not much, because schools rarely recruit new ones, and most of the previous teachers have been recruited. To overcome difficulties, the District Party Committee established delegations to survey, grasp the situation, determine the source, assign specific targets to each party organization, and organize many thematic conferences; thanks to that, the number of recruitment has increased, focusing on the sources of students, militia, and partly teachers.

Ensure completion before congress

Party development is an important target of each congress term, aiming to consolidate, build, and enhance the Party's fighting strength and leadership capacity, rejuvenate the cadre team, and create a source of succession for grassroots party organizations in agencies, units, and localities.

Speaking at the conference to review the Party building work in 2024 and deploy the directions and tasks for 2025, Party Central Committee member and City Party Secretary Le Truong Luu emphasized: 2025 is the final year to carry out the tasks of the 2020-2025 term; in which, the target on Party development must be focused on to complete, ensuring sufficient quantity and quality. Be more proactive in finding sources, creating quality sources to bring truly outstanding people into the Party ranks to continue training, creating an environment for striving, maturing, and creating quality cadres for the city in the coming time.

From the beginning of the term to March 2025, the entire City Party Committee admitted 7,904 new party members. According to the plan for the entire term, the entire city is expected to admit 8,500 new party members. From now until October 2025, the expected time to hold the Hue City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, there are about 6 months left, the number of new party members needed for the entire city is 600.

The City Party Committee aims to accelerate and synchronously deploy solutions, ensuring the completion of the Party development targets during the term; contributing to the success of the tasks and plans set out by the Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

According to Phan Xuan Toan, Head of the Party Organization Committee, in order to effectively develop the Party, the Party Committee continues to promote leadership and direction of branches and Party committees to ensure the set targets for Party admission. Speed ​​up the background check process, ensure that pending files are completed for early admission. Party committees at all levels continue to seriously and correctly implement the process, principles, procedures and authority for admitting Party members; promote democracy, attach importance to quality, and avoid the idea of ​​taking the file review work lightly when admitting new Party members.
