Dak Nong expected to have aluminum products in the second quarter of 2026

To date, the project has completed the basic construction of the project items. The investor has selected the EPC general contractor for the package of manufacturing, supplying and installing equipment for the project. It is expected that the package will start in April 2025.

Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project has completed the basic construction of the project items.

The investor committed to putting phase I of the factory into operation in the second quarter of 2026, with a capacity of 150,000 tons/year.

Phase 2 with a capacity of 300,000 tons/year will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2027. By the first quarter of 2028, the designed capacity will reach 450,000 tons/year.

Comrade Ngo Thanh Danh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Nong province inspected the Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project in mid-March 2025.

Currently, Dak Nong is urging and directing relevant units to implement the final results of the difficulties and obstacles for the Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project and the Infrastructure Project inside and outside the fence of Nhan Co Industrial Park. Thereby helping to ensure the progress as committed by the investor.

Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project has a total investment capital of 18,423.64 billion VND.

The Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant Project is invested by Tran Hong Quan Metallurgy Company Limited. The project is being built in Nhan Co Industrial Park, Nhan Co Commune (Dak R'lap), with an area of ​​129.42 hectares. The plant has a capacity of 450,000 tons of aluminum/year. The total investment capital of the project is 18,423.64 billion VND.
