On the evening of November 29, at Dak Mil District Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, the People's Committee of Dak Mil District (Dak Nong) organized a program to perform and recreate intangible cultural forms of ethnic minorities in Dak Mil District in 2024.
The program has the participation of more than 100 artisans and non-professional actors from the communes of Thuan An, Duc Minh, Long Son, Dak Sak, Dak R'la, Dak N'Drot, Dak Gan, Dak Mil town and Dak Mil District Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities.
Performances and reenactments of intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in the district such as: gong playing and dancing of the M'nong people; Tinh lute and Then singing of the Tay people; Khmer dance; lion dance of the Tay and Nung people; Thai xoe dance...
The program contributes to introducing and widely promoting the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in the district. Thereby attracting tourists to localities in the district, contributing to promoting tourism potential and socio-economic development.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Ba Tinh, Vice Chairman of Dak Mil District People's Committee emphasized that preserving the intangible cultural values of ethnic minorities is not only a responsibility, but also a meaningful journey in preserving and promoting traditional values, contributing to protecting the cultural diversity of ethnic groups in the district.
This is one of the contents that the People's Committee of Dak Mil district is implementing Project 6 "Preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, period 2021 - 2025 in Dak Mil district.
