In the 2021-2023 period, Military Region 5 and Voice of Vietnam will implement a joint propaganda program on military and defense tasks in the context of complicated developments in the world and region. Over the past 2 years, VOV has published and broadcast more than 350 news, articles, photos, and reports, thereby helping readers and listeners quickly and fully grasp information and events on military and defense work taking place in Military Region 5.
Units of Military Region 5 have created conditions for hundreds of reporters and collaborators of Voice of Vietnam to visit units in the Military Region and border, sea and island lines to collect information and propagate the results of military and defense tasks and activities of the armed forces of Military Region 5.
VOV General Director and Commander of Military Region 5 signed a cooperation agreement on propaganda for the 2023-2025 period.

At the conference, Military Region 5 and Voice of Vietnam continued to sign a comprehensive coordination agreement on propaganda on military and defense tasks, building the armed forces of Military Region 5 and protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Military Region 5 Command and the Voice of Vietnam Radio regularly lead, direct, and strictly manage the content of information and propaganda on military and defense tasks according to the direction and orientation of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the guidance of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Information and Communications. At the same time, they coordinate to implement the guidelines and policies of the Party, the State, and the Army on information and propaganda work and professional contents related to the field of press activities.

On this occasion, Mr. Do Tien Sy, member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam presented 12 Commemorative Medals "For the cause of broadcasting" of the Voice of Vietnam to the leaders of Da Nang city, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa provinces and generals of Military Region 5 who have made many contributions and outstanding achievements in leading, directing, collaborating and helping, contributing to the development of the Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnam Radio industry.
The General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Radio awarded 2 groups and 3 individuals of Military Region 5 for their outstanding achievements in propaganda coordination work. The Political Commissar of Military Region 5 awarded 5 groups and 8 individuals of the Voice of Vietnam Radio for their outstanding achievements in propaganda coordination work. The leaders of the Da Nang City Party Committee also presented gifts to congratulate Military Region 5 and the Voice of Vietnam Radio.
