(CLO) Responding to the movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Ngai province, on February 3, leaders, officers, employees and workers of Quang Ngai Newspaper contributed 60 million VND to support the construction of houses for households with housing difficulties.
Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025 is a special political task, a major policy with important and deeply humane significance of our Party and State, contributing to bringing the country into a new era.

The work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province has recently become a comprehensive movement, demonstrating community responsibility in caring for the material and spiritual lives of the poor and disadvantaged.
At the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc called on cadres, employees and workers to uphold the spirit of solidarity, “mutual love and support”, and join hands to contribute to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. Thereby, contributing to helping people settle down, find jobs, work and develop the economy, gradually rising out of poverty sustainably.
On this occasion, leaders, officers, employees and workers of Quang Ngai Newspaper contributed 60 million VND to support the construction of houses for households with housing difficulties. Previously, Quang Ngai Newspaper mobilized and received 530 million VND from 8 agencies, units and enterprises to support the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. At the same time, it received more than 1.17 billion VND to implement the social security program Loving Tet, Warm Spring 2025 supported and accompanied by 5 agencies, units and enterprises.
In 2024, Quang Ngai Newspaper mobilized agencies and businesses inside and outside the province to support 670 million VND to build 13 solidarity houses for poor, near-poor households, and policy families facing housing difficulties; awarded more than 600 million VND in scholarships to students in the province, especially students from ethnic minorities and fishermen's children.
