Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin greets the Secretary General of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party

Secretary General Chakil Aboobaca affirmed that Mozambique always appreciates the significance and importance of the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and two countries.

On March 31, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Tran Thi Thu Thin visited Secretary General of the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO) Chakil Aboobacar.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Secretary General Chakil Aboobaca congratulated Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin on her assignment in Mozambique, affirming that the FRELIMO Party in particular and Mozambique in general always highly appreciate the significance and importance of the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and two countries.

The current good relationship is the result of solidarity, friendship, and the sincere and valuable support and assistance that the two Parties and two countries have given each other in the past struggle for national liberation as well as in the current construction and development of each country.

Secretary General Chakil Aboobacar expressed his delight at the concrete results of the cooperation between the two Parties, from delegation exchanges, training of cadres, sharing of theories and practical experiences, to the successful implementation of the model of linking Vietnamese enterprises investing in Mozambique, bringing practical benefits to the economic and social development of the host country.

The Secretary General affirmed his hope that the two Parties and countries will continue to research and exchange to expand cooperation in areas where both sides have advantages and needs.

Respectfully conveying the congratulations of General Secretary To Lam and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu to President Daniel Chapo and Secretary General Chakil Aboobacar on the occasion of their election as leaders of the FRELIMO Party, Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin expressed her joy and honor to be appointed as Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique at an important time, when the two countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (June 25, 1975 - June 25, 2025).

The Ambassador affirmed our Party's foreign policy of diversification, multilateralization, loyalty, affection, and consistency towards traditional friends and partners. Mozambique is one of the countries that Vietnam prioritizes promoting relations with in Africa, and FRELIMO is also an important partner of the Communist Party of Vietnam in order to deepen solidarity, friendship and cooperation, consolidating the political foundation for bilateral relations between the two countries.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to promote the effective implementation of bilateral cooperation plans in the coming time, based on the good results achieved during the visits of the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries in recent times, focusing on delegation exchanges, training and information exchange, actively supporting each other in Party channel activities and forums, and expanding cooperation to other fields.
