(QNO) - Dai Loc District People's Committee has proposed that the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Home Affairs increase the local education staff due to the current school network situation and the increase in the number of students and preschool and primary school classes in the following school years.

Responding to local recommendations at the recent conference on implementing tasks of the home affairs sector in 2024, according to the Department of Home Affairs, the staffing assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2023 to the Dai Loc District People's Committee is 1,831. The district's staffing requirement for the 2023-2024 school year is 1,862 (preschool: 540 staffing, primary school: 701 staffing, secondary school: 621 staffing).
Comparing the staffing needs for the 2023-2024 school year with the staffing assigned for 2023, Dai Loc District People's Committee lacks 31 staffing positions. Implementing Resolution No. 19 dated July 12, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council; The Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1544 dated July 24, 2023 on the assignment of the number of contracts in public service units with regular expenditures guaranteed by the State in the education sector for the 2023-2024 school year and health sector in 2023 in the province.
Accordingly, Dai Loc District People's Committee was contracted for 21 teachers; at the same time, based on the additional allocation ratio assigned by the Central Government (151 positions) only meeting the ratio of 17.4% (151/866) and the additional needs of units and localities; The Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council to issue Resolution No. 67 dated December 29, 2023 on the allocation of civil servant positions and the number of people working and receiving salaries from the state budget of Quang Nam province in 2024.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 67 of the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee assigned Dai Loc district to supplement 5 educational career positions. Thus, including teacher contracts and additional positions, Dai Loc still lacks 5 educational career positions according to the staffing needs of the 2023-2024 school year.
