The Emulation Congress of Lao Cai Province Armed Forces was a great success.

Immediately after the opening ceremony , the Emulation Congress of the Lao Cai Provincial Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024 continued with the planned contents.

The report presented at the Congress assessed: In the period of 2019 - 2024, the emulation and reward work and the Emulation Movement for Victory of the provincial armed forces have been closely combined with the campaigns of all levels, sectors, organizations and patriotic emulation movements in the locality; creating comprehensive and synchronous changes in all aspects of work with many new models, breakthroughs and creative solutions. Thereby, contributing to building a clean and strong party organization, a comprehensively strong agency and unit that is "exemplary and typical", strong and excellent mass organizations; a contingent of cadres and soldiers with steadfast and firm political will, always accepting and completing well all assigned tasks.

The discovery, training, development and replication of typical advanced collectives and individuals in all aspects or in each aspect of work are always focused on, with many good practices, new and creative models applied in practice. The inspection, preliminary and final review work is maintained seriously, bringing the emulation movement to develop evenly and widely, motivating cadres and soldiers to be united, creative, and strive to achieve many achievements in all fields.

The Emulation Movement for Victory directly contributes to building agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, organization and personnel; building a team of cadres and soldiers with strong political will, high determination, ready to receive and complete all tasks well.

In recognition of its achievements, the provincial armed forces were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of National Defense 5 times, 55 collectives were awarded the title of Determined to Win Unit, and 1,246 individuals were awarded at all levels.

He suggested that the emulation, reward and the Emulation Movement for Victory in the provincial armed forces in the coming time should carry out well the following contents: strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels and commanders in the work of rewards and emulation movements; promote the sense of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, positivity and self-awareness of cadres and soldiers, especially the exemplary spirit of leading and taking the lead of cadres at all levels in implementing emulation targets. The emulation movement must thoroughly and fully grasp the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation; closely combine socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security, building defense zones, national defense posture, national defense of the whole people, and increasingly solid people's hearts.

The emulation movement needs to focus on building a strong provincial armed force; with a revolutionary, regular, elite standing force; a high-quality militia and self-defense force, and a high-quality reserve force.
