The 4th Congress of Delegates of the Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association, term 2023

The Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association has just held its 4th Congress of Delegates, term 2023 - 2028.

Attending and directing the Congress were Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, departments, branches and 150 outstanding members.

The report at the congress said that during the past term, the Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association has continuously developed the number of members and the quality of activities. All levels of the Association have proactively coordinated with the health sector and departments, sectors and unions to mobilize resources inside and outside the province to accompany in caring for and improving people's health, focusing on the community, and striving to exceed the set targets.

Doctor Phan Thanh Trinh, Chairman of the Provincial Young Physicians Association, reported on the Association's activities.

Up to now, the Dak Lak Province Young Physicians Association has 928 members operating in 16 branches. During the past term, the programs and activities of the Young Physicians Association were widely organized, and the young physicians have gradually affirmed themselves as a dynamic, creative force with the spirit of learning, practicing, improving medical ethics, professional qualifications, and having the will and aspiration to rise up.

With the campaign "Young Doctors for Community Health", in the third term, the Young Doctors Association organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for 86,000 people; trained first aid methods for 1,800 teachers of kindergartens and primary schools in the province; organized a Handwashing Day with soap for 6,300 students; organized training courses on propaganda and education on adolescent reproductive health and disease prevention for 4,750 students; organized an international voluntary medical examination and treatment activity in Cambodia.

During the 2023 - 2028 term, the Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association set out a number of basic targets such as: organizing medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for 90,000 people; coordinating the organization of 2 international volunteer activities in Laos and Cambodia; training first aid methods for 2,000 teachers of kindergartens and primary schools, establishing 2 new Young Physicians Associations and recruiting 500 new members....

The Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association, term IV, 2023 - 2028, was introduced at the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La praised the efforts of the members of the Dak Lak Province Young Physicians Association for being pioneers on the front line of epidemic prevention and taking the lead in protecting, caring for, and improving people's health.
In the coming term, Director of the Department of Health Nay Phi La suggested that the Association should innovate the organization of activities, develop members; further enhance the quality of the Association's activities; expand exchanges, learn from experiences of models of provinces and seek support from the Central Association and other social organizations; organize many meaningful activities, targeting remote areas, ethnic minorities; pay attention to fostering ideals, patriotism, professional qualities for members to contribute to the cause of taking care of people's health and developing the country.

Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union rewards collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Young Physicians Association, term IV, 2023 - 2028, consisting of 30 members. Master, Doctor Phan Thanh Trinh, Chairman of the Provincial Young Physicians Association, term III, was elected as Chairman of the Provincial Young Physicians Association, term IV, 2023 - 2028.
