In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today, July 2, 2024, increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday and fluctuated between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

After increasing the price, traders are purchasing in Thai Nguyen at 68,000 VND/kg, equal to the price purchased by traders in Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, and Ninh Binh.
Specifically, the highest price in the region of 69,000 VND/kg was recorded in Hung Yen.
On the contrary, the lowest price in the region of 67,000 VND/kg was recorded in Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, and Tuyen Quang.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today decreased by 2,000 VND in some localities and fluctuated between 61,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, after reducing two prices, traders are purchasing in Binh Dinh at 61,000 VND/kg. This is the lowest price in the region.
Meanwhile, traders in Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and Binh Thuan are purchasing live pigs at 67,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region.

After reducing one price in Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa, in Quang Binh, two prices were reduced, traders are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong province also reduced one price to 66,000 VND/kg.
In other localities in the region, the price of live pigs fluctuates around 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, the price of live pigs decreased slightly by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg and fluctuated between 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, after reducing the price, traders are purchasing in Binh Duong at 67,000 VND/kg, equal to Vung Tau, An Giang, Ca Mau, and Tien Giang.

After reducing one price in Ben Tre and Vinh Long, after reducing two prices, traders are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, equal to the price that traders buy in Bac Lieu and Soc Trang. This price is also recorded as the lowest in the region.
Other localities did not record any price fluctuations, of which the highest price in the region of 68,000 VND/kg was recorded in Long An.
Traders in the remaining localities buy live pigs at the same price of 65,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
In general, the trading price of live pigs today mainly decreased in many localities. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 61,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
