Diversify propaganda and mobilization work

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Bac Lieu City Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations have focused on implementing political tasks with practical results. Propaganda and mobilization work has had many positive changes. The Fatherland Front and its member organizations at all levels have many practical solutions in diversifying forms of gathering, propagating and mobilizing people to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, policies, laws of the State and action programs.

The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been widely organized and implemented, promoting the proactiveness, creativity, self-reliance and autonomy of the people, mobilizing many resources to contribute capital and labor to participate in building new rural areas and building works to serve people's lives. Along with that, coordinating with the government and related sectors to develop programs and plans to implement sustainable poverty reduction in the city. The result of the "For the poor - Social security" fund mobilization is over 31 billion VND. Of which, the "For the poor" fund is over 4 billion VND. From this fund and support sources from the province, organizations and benefactors, 719 Great Unity houses, charity houses, and gratitude houses have been built and repaired for policy families, poor households, and households with difficult housing circumstances, contributing to eliminating dilapidated houses in the city...

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress seriously assessed the situation of the great national solidarity bloc and summarized the work of the Front in the past term, reviewed what had been done and what had not been done, and found out the causes and lessons learned in the work of the Front.

At the same time, unify actions for the new term, in accordance with the actual situation in the locality and general orientations with specific goals such as: Every year, the city and commune levels organize at least 2 monitoring sessions; regarding social criticism, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the city level organizes at least 2 sessions, at the commune level at least 1 session; organize at least 1 dialogue between the head of the Party Committee, government and the people...

The congress consulted to elect the 11th Bac Lieu City Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024 - 2029, consisting of 53 people and 29 people participating in the delegation to attend the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress. Ms. Lam Bich Niem continued to be consulted to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Bac Lieu City Fatherland Front Committee for the term 2024 - 2029.
