In the performance part of the preliminary round, the contestants demonstrated their skills in performing traditional costumes of the Northwest ethnic groups; Ao Dai and swimsuit. Contestant Vu Thao Van, Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province, said: “To prepare for this preliminary round, I have prepared quite carefully from the performances such as the national costume competition. It also took me a lot of time to find the traditional Ao Com costume. I feel quite confident about my performance.”

The swimsuit performance attracted a large audience, the contestants showed off their physical advantages, showing off their youthful and healthy features. With careful preparation and serious practice, the contestants confidently completed this competition well. This was also the competition that received high evaluation from the judges compared to previous years.

And in this preliminary round, there are some outstanding contestants, promising to be able to enter the next round with the highest results.”

The talent competition was also the highlight of the preliminary round, with contestants performing 19 acts in many genres such as: dancing, singing, modern dance, and presentations. The acts were carefully invested in costumes, props, stage, etc., bringing the audience to pictures of joyful life and diverse cultural colors. At the same time, they demonstrated the talent, personality, and message that the contestants wanted to bring to the competition.
