Learn security with MoMo

MoMo has initiated the project "Learning about security with MoMo" to equip and provide knowledge about security in an intuitive and easy-to-understand way for users.

"Learning about security with MoMo" is a project by MoMo in cooperation with the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) to promote security awareness among Vietnamese people, thereby improving their ability to protect themselves against risks in the digital environment.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Diep, Co-founder of MoMo shared: “We will widely provide this knowledge to many users, through many influential and pervasive media channels, with the hope that everyone can access it. By changing the purpose of using the media channel, MoMo hopes to contribute to activities to raise awareness of security for Vietnamese people, instead of just communicating new products, features and services of the business”.

The project “Learning about security with MoMo” includes a series of short videos revolving around security instructions from passwords, OTPs to being wary of strange links, money transfer requests or instructions to help users implement security measures such as biometric authentication... The longest instructions are more than 30 seconds long, presented in a creative, friendly and “trendy” form and language instead of just providing knowledge in a dry, methodical way.

Most of the “lesson” series is modeled based on interesting real-life situations, common cases such as how people often set simple but risky passwords, and at the same time, guides users to “tips” for setting secure passwords. Thanks to this intuitive, vivid, and familiar way of presentation, MoMo has made security knowledge easy to understand, so that anyone can apply it to protect their accounts and assets.
