50 years of Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts: Promoting tradition, continuing the future

The seminar “50 years of Literature and Arts of Ho Chi Minh City - Promoting tradition, continuing the future” was held to summarize the practice of 50 years of literature and arts of Ho Chi Minh City, thereby proposing solutions to promote good traditions and orient future development. In addition, the seminar is also an opportunity to promote the intelligence of scientists , managers, cultural experts and artists to concretize the contents, contents and directions, solutions for developing literature and arts in the new period associated with the reality in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Organizing Committee received 86 papers with rich and diverse content. In addition to evaluating the activities of the arts and culture over the past 50 years in various fields, many papers also focused on newly raised issues and proposed solutions for the arts and culture today such as the impact of science and technology, the digital age on arts and culture, the trend of approaching arts and culture in the era of social network explosion, many papers began to pay more attention to aestheticeducation , shaping the ability to receive art of young people, etc.

Speaking at the seminar, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong said that the presentations and opinions of the delegates in this seminar were very profound, responsible, and dedicated to the issue of building and developing culture and arts.
