Immerse yourself in Vietnamese ethnic culture this November

The event "Returning to the land of quintessence and identity heritage" about the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups, aims to honor the strength of national solidarity, demonstrating the tradition of solidarity, sharing and mutual support in the community.

One of the highlights of the program is the cultural activities typical of the Tay, Nung (Thai Nguyen), Mong (Ha Giang), Dao (Hanoi) and Muong (Hoa Binh) ethnic groups. In this cultural space, visitors will enjoy performances of folk songs and dances such as Then singing, Tinh lute of the Tay people, Khen dance of the Mong people, and gong performances of Muong people. In addition, the cultural experience space will allow visitors to participate in interactive activities such as pao throwing, stilt walking and seesaw.

The Lao, Thai and Kho Mu ethnic villages will offer visitors unique cultural experiences with beautiful landscapes and rich traditions. Activities such as Thai xoe, con throwing and traditional dances of the Kho Mu and Lao people will be held regularly. Moreover, the cuisine of all three ethnic groups will also be introduced with elaborate and unique dishes made from natural ingredients such as colored sticky rice, steamed pork, grilled chicken, smoked buffalo meat, and wild bamboo shoots.

The November program not only introduces culture but also creates opportunities for ethnic communities to exchange and learn from each other. Performances and teaching of traditional musical instruments and folk songs and dances of the Central Highlands ethnic groups will also be held, contributing to enriching the cultural landscape of the event.

In addition to the main activities, the program also includes daily and weekend activities from 16 different ethnic communities. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in folk games, experience making and wrapping cakes, as well as learn about the customs of the ethnic groups through praying activities at spiritual spaces such as Khmer pagodas and Cham towers.

The “Great Unity of Ethnic Groups – Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” Week is not only an opportunity for ethnic groups in the country to honor their cultural identity but also an opportunity to promote Vietnamese cultural values ​​to international friends, attracting tourists to visit and experience. This event promises to bring rich and meaningful experiences to all participants, while contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
