“The working group is directly reviewing the entire content of the film Direction of the Wind. The post-inspection of all films on the Internet is the responsibility of the Working Group for the Management of Film Dissemination on the Internet. When we receive feedback on the content of the film, we immediately review the film,” said Mr. Do Quoc Viet.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema said that the film's broadcast time is quite large, so the working group needs time to carefully review the film's content. "We need time to review the entire film to have the most accurate assessment of the level and number of unreasonable scenes," the Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema told Tien Phong.

The scene revolves around a flight from Guangzhou (China) to Singapore that encounters an incident due to a passenger having a health problem. The chief flight attendant suggests diverting to the nearest airport, but the captain refuses.

Tien Phong reporter contacted Netflix Vietnam representative but Netflix Vietnam representative said there was no specific information to share about this incident.

On the morning of July 8, this episode was still available on this online platform. In addition to Netflix, the work was also shown on a number of entertainment platforms and "illegal" movie websites in the country.

On the FPT Play platform, the scene is currently blurred with the image of the nine-dash line. A representative of FPT Play confirmed that content before being released on FPT Play is always guaranteed to fully comply with the censorship process and comply with legal regulations.

The movie Ice and Fire was removed from many Vietnamese movie platforms because it contained the image of the "cow tongue line".

Before Huong Gio Ma Di , many Chinese films also intentionally inserted the illegal "cow tongue line" image such as In the name of the family, You are my fortress, Send my warm youth, Ice and fire... These films have been removed from Vietnamese online movie platforms.

On July 3, the Director of the Cinema Department confirmed that the movie Barbie was banned from being shown in Vietnam because it contained images of the illegal "cow tongue line" and illegal images that were repeated many times.
In March 2022, the film Uncharted starring Tom Holland was also banned from showing for the same reason. In December 2019, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism fined the distributor CGV VND170 million for Abominable (Everest: The Little Yeti) - an animated film with a scene of the illegal "nine-dash line" map. This work was licensed and shown in theaters for 10 days before being discovered, then had to be withdrawn from theaters.
