The delegation of the Northern Power Corporation inspected the actual preparation work to respond to storm No. 3 Yagi of Thanh Hoa Power Company.

To proactively respond to storm No. 3 Yagi, the Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company requested its affiliated units to urgently and seriously implement the relevant instructions in the Telegrams issued by the Prime Minister, the Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Electricity Group, and the Northern Power Corporation. Proactively monitor and grasp the storm's developments on the mass media.

Implement the "4 on-site" motto, put on standby forces for disaster prevention and search and rescue (PCTT&TKCN), quickly fix incidents, and promptly restore power supply to customers. It is necessary to strengthen prevention of flash floods, landslides affecting the power grid and assets (especially on-duty posts and operating houses). Coordinate with units managing flood-control pumping stations to ensure continuous power supply to pumping stations in flooded areas in the area during floods. Check all power lines crossing, running along rivers, streams in low-lying areas at risk of flooding equipment, power grid lines, etc. to promptly detect risks and have timely handling plans.

Coordinate with local authorities and people to prune and completely clear trees inside and outside the corridor that are at risk of causing problems to the power grid, while promoting information and propaganda on electrical safety among people and workers, and the efforts of the electricity industry during the rainy and stormy season; ensure good maintenance of the communication system, transmission lines, etc. Coordinate closely with the Customer Service Center to update information on the impact of natural disasters on the power supply situation to promptly respond to customers. Timely report on damage and results of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters to the website for natural disaster prevention and search and rescue.
