Presenting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Loc said that his family has 1,500m2 of residential land and 980m2 of perennial land in the locality, which was granted a land use right certificate by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in 2021.

Due to the need to separate the residential land plot to divide among his family members, he submitted a request to re-determine the location of the residential land because the Dien Ban Land Registration Office determined that the land plot was only 7.25m deep and 14.45m wide, so it was not suitable for land separation and division.

However, from 2022 until now, he has repeatedly submitted requests, but Dien Ban town has instructed him to send documents here and there and then make appointments, without resolving them.

A representative of the Quang Nam Land Registration Office said that the province has a policy to allow the conversion of residential land locations, and the specialized agency, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, has previously provided guidance on the condition that the conversion is in accordance with the planning.

After listening to the opinions of representatives of Dien Ban Town People's Committee and Quang Nam Land Registration Office, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung affirmed that the citizen's request to re-determine residential land is completely legitimate and legal.

"Therefore, Dien Ban needs to take action soon to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people. In April 2025, the work of re-determining residential land locations must be completed to resolve issues for citizens," Mr. Dung noted.
