Announcing the results of the Hau Giang Province Art Photography Competition 2024

On January 22, 2024, the Hau Giang Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a judging session for the Hau Giang Provincial Art Photography Contest with the theme "Celebrating the glorious Party, Celebrating the Spring of Giap Thin 2024" at the Association's headquarters.

Comrade Nguyen Vinh Phuc - Vice President of Hau Giang Province Literature and Arts Association handed over the work to the Jury for evaluation.

The contest received more than 200 entries from 13 professional and non-professional authors in the province. The entries clearly reflect the outstanding achievements that the Party Committee and People of Hau Giang province have achieved in the fields of politics, economy, society, national defense and security in 2023; At the same time, they praise the natural beauty, historical traditions, culture, the innovation of urban and rural areas, love for the homeland, country, land, and people of Hau Giang who are united, affectionate, loyal, and dynamic, especially in "Studying and following the example, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh".

The works were publicly selected at the Hall of the Literature and Arts Association of Hau Giang province.

Through 4 rounds of public judging, the Jury consisting of photographers: NSNA Ta Hoang Nguyen (Head of the Jury), NSNA Truong Thach Vu (member), NSNA Nguyen Vinh Hien (member) selected 60 works for exhibition and 11 best works to award prizes, including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes and 5 Encouragement prizes.

In particular, the first prize winning work by author Tran Quoc Khanh is a unique angle of the Vietnam Rice International Festival - a prominent event celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hau Giang province.
