68 studies on medical examination and treatment published

The conference was organized by Military Hospital 121 on the morning of February 23, with the participation of many Associate Professors, Doctors, CK2 Doctors, Masters and Doctors from military and civilian hospitals and medical universities in the southern region.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Distinguished Physician, Colonel, Doctor CK2 Nguyen Minh Thuan, Director of Military Hospital 121, emphasized that the 2024 scientific conference aims to summarize scientific research topics, initiatives to improve medical examination and treatment techniques, and provide updated information on modern diagnostic and treatment techniques applied to medical examination and treatment at Military Hospital 121 and other hospitals inside and outside the military.

Meritorious physician, Colonel, Doctor CK2 Nguyen Minh Thuan delivered the opening speech at the conference.

The conference also contributed to creating conditions for learning and exchanging experiences to improve the professional capacity of medical staff, increase treatment effectiveness, and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for soldiers and people in the region, approaching the development of modern medicine.

"The 68 research topics (internal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, resuscitation, obstetrics and pediatrics, infectious diseases, pharmacy, community medicine, etc.) compiled in this year's proceedings are scientific research works of medical staff inside and outside the military. Valuable experiences drawn from daily work practices will be useful reference materials for future medical examination and treatment activities...", informed Dr. Nguyen Minh Thuan.

Also according to Dr. CK2 Nguyen Minh Thuan, on March 15, Military Hospital 121 will hold a ceremony to celebrate its 60th anniversary (March 15, 1964 - March 15, 2024). After 60 years of construction and development, the hospital now has 548 staff members, organized into 36 departments, spacious and airy facilities, and modern medical equipment. The hospital has all the specialties according to the classification of a Grade I hospital in the army.

Currently, on average, Military Hospital 121 examines and treats over 1,000 patients per day.
