Investors had been looking forward to the content of the meeting earlier this week between the State Bank and the Ministry of Construction with real estate businesses. However, after the meeting, real estate stocks were still trading sluggishly and there was a strong divergence as many investors said the results were not as expected.
Real estate stocks with many large codes such as NVL, PDR, NLG, KBC, SZL, VHM, VRE... also traded in green on the morning of November 14. However, the prices of these stocks only increased slightly. Meanwhile, the "big guy" VIC ended the morning still at the reference price of VND44,800 and many other codes were in a similar situation such as VRG, KDH, ITA, KOS... On the contrary, there are still many real estate stocks trading in red such as BCM, DXG, NVT, SJS, SSH, TIX...
Real estate stocks are strongly differentiated.
In general, the differentiation of real estate stocks is quite strong. At the same time, the trading volume of this group of stocks is also low like the whole market in general. At the market closing, some high-priced stocks such as VHM, SZL, SJS, KBC turned down or like NVL fell back to the reference.
Meanwhile, many banking and securities stocks remained green. Eximbank's EIB code maintained its ceiling price at VND19,000 and matched nearly 23.9 million units. Following were SHB, up 3.6% to VND11,450, MSB, up 2.7% to VND13,500, LPB, up 2.6% to VND15,700... Other codes in the group such as TPB, OCB, ACB, CTG, MBB, TCB, VPB, VIB, up from 0.9% to 2.1%.
At the same time, the number of blue-chips in the VN30 basket that increased in price accounted for the majority, pushing the VN30-Index up 12.56 points to 1,119.28 points. This also supported the VN-Index to close the session up 9.66 points to 1,109.73 points. On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index also closed up 1.32 points to 227.43 points. The trading value of all three exchanges reached more than VND19,401 billion with more than 963 million shares changing hands, a slight increase compared to yesterday.
