In addition to traveling to enjoy the peaceful and poetic scenery, visitors can combine new and meaningful volunteer activities at Tram Tau (Yen Bai).
Tram Tau is a small district 100km from Yen Bai city center. This place is extremely suitable for tourists to immerse themselves in nature, admire the wild but no less peaceful and poetic scenery. From spring to summer, Tram Tau is suitable for trekking because of the dry weather and the terraced fields are in the watering season. Many people love this land not because of the majestic scenery but because of the peace, quiet, and healing atmosphere. Tram Tau does not have large hotels, only homestays and motels, so there is no overcrowding or chaos. Coming here, visitors can enjoy the feeling of relaxation at the natural hot spring or hunt clouds at the top of Ta Chi Nhu, Ta Xua... Mr. Pham Tu (29 years old, photographer in Hanoi) expressed his special love for this small mountainous district: "For me, Tram Tau is a peaceful land. What I feel most clearly when coming here is the peace it brings." According to Mr. Tu, Tram Tau still retains many original features, and has not been exploited too much for tourism resources, creating a feeling of closeness, simplicity and comfort. “Tourists can go to Tram Tau if they want to find a beautiful place but not too crowded. In addition, you can also join volunteer tours to have new and meaningful experiences” – Mr. Tu suggested. According to Mr. Pham Tu, this is a tour combined with a charity activity to give gifts to disadvantaged children in Tram Tau. Tram Tau is one of the poorest districts in the country. Although it has rich natural resources, inconvenient transportation is a major barrier to tourism development here. In addition to familiar tourist destinations such as Moc Chau, Mai Chau, Sa Pa, Tu Le, etc., Tram Tau (Yen Bai) is definitely a tourist destination worth considering for tourists who love mountains, forests, and villages in the highlands.
