Previously, on January 10, HAGL Club confirmed that they had parted ways with coach Kiatisak after nearly 4 seasons. Mr. Kiatisak moved to HAGL Club in the 2021 season. V.League 2021 witnessed HAGL playing with brilliant form. The mountain town team led the rankings for 12 rounds before the tournament was canceled. In the 2023/2024 season, HAGL faced many difficulties and is at the bottom of the table.

It was very difficult for me to say goodbye to HAGL. I love this team so much and have many memories here. It was very difficult to make this decision. I want to have more challenges for myself and I choose Hanoi Police Club ," Coach Kiatisak said in a television program.
Coach Kiatisak will start his new job from now on. The goal of the Thai coach is to help the Hanoi Police Club return to the championship race. He even wants the team to win the championship for the second time in a row like HAGL did and join the Hanoi Police Club in the continental arena.
After 8 rounds, Hanoi Police Club is ranked 5th on the V.League rankings. They have 12 points, 7 points behind the top team, Nam Dinh Club.
Before Coach Kiatisak, Hanoi Police Club was led by two coaches, Tran Tien Dai and Gong Oh-kyun. Mr. Tran Tien Dai is currently the team's Technical Director, while Coach Gong Oh-kyun lost his coaching rights from round 8 of V.League 2024 due to poor performance.
