Experts affirm that for a startup project to develop sustainably, in addition to knowledge, creative ideas and perseverance, students need to know how to raise capital effectively.

This is the topic that attracted students at the conference "Orientation of innovative start-up activities at the University of Education, Danang University in the period 2025 - 2030", which took place on March 15.
Plan and roadmap for capital mobilization
Ms. Nguyen Quynh Le, representative of the Institute of Human Resources Training and International Cooperation, said that lack of capital is one of the biggest challenges for students when starting a business.
However, according to her, students should not think that investment funds are too far away. Support from family, personal savings or investors looking for potential projects can also be important sources of capital.
In particular, right from when they are still in school, students need to proactively participate in startup programs to expand connections with investors.
There are many investment channels available to students, of which Angel investment funds are one of the most viable options.
This is a form where businesses are willing to invest in potential startup projects, as long as they see the profitability.
To convince investors, students need to build a detailed and well-organized business plan, clearly outlining the development roadmap, ensuring that investors can visualize their ability to recover profits.
"Not only stopping at a good idea, a solid founding team is also a factor that investors are particularly interested in. Students should not go it alone, but need to look for people with other expertise to combine and take advantage of each other's strengths. A project with a team of diverse skills will have a solid foundation and create more trust for investors," Ms. Quynh Le advised.
