Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong works with leaders of Gyeonggi Province (Korea)

Within the framework of the working trip to Korea, on April 1, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, worked with the leaders of Gyeonggi province, the most populous province in Korea, introducing the investment environment of Vinh Phuc to the business community of Gyeonggi province.

Receiving the delegation of Vinh Phuc province was Mr. Ko Young In - Deputy Governor in charge of economy of Gyeonggi province.

The provincial delegation worked with leaders of Gyeonggi province (South Korea).

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong informed about the socio-economic development of Vinh Phuc in recent years, introducing the potential and advantages of the province in developing industries, especially the processing and manufacturing industry, producing electronic components, which are the strengths of Korean enterprises.

During the development process, Vinh Phuc has a close relationship with many localities of Korea. The investment and business environment in Vinh Phuc has become a launching pad to help Korean enterprises develop and grow rapidly, bringing economic benefits and revenue to the provincial budget.

The impressive figures of 237 Korean enterprises investing in Vinh Phuc, with a total investment capital of more than 3.1 billion USD, are clear evidence of the increasingly good development cooperation relationship between Vinh Phuc province and Korean enterprises.

In the spirit of solidarity, cooperation and development, the leaders of Vinh Phuc province hope that the government and business community of Gyeonggi province will continue to pay attention and strengthen cooperation with Vinh Phuc province, invest in more industrial projects with modern technology and high added value, creating more jobs for workers, and making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Vinh Phuc province.

On the same afternoon, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong visited and worked with leaders of Samsung Group (Korea). He emphasized that Samsung's suppliers in Vinh Phuc are playing an extremely important role, not only contributing to creating many jobs for local people but also promoting economic development, improving production capacity and technology for the whole province.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong suggested that Samsung continue to pay attention and consider expanding its investment in Vinh Phuc, especially in the fields of semiconductor technology, high technology and green, environmentally friendly industries. Vinh Phuc pledged to create all favorable conditions in terms of policies, infrastructure and support services so that Samsung and other Korean enterprises can develop sustainably in the province.
