Chairman of Ayun Pa town becomes Director of Gia Lai Province Department of Transport

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee decided to transfer Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of Ayun Pa Town People's Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Transport.

On the morning of November 26, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province held a ceremony to hand over the decision to transfer Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ayun Pa town to work at the Department of Transport to hold the position of Director of the Department.

The transfer and appointment decision signed by Mr. Rah Lan Chung, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, takes effect from November 28, 2024.

Also at the decision-making ceremony, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee handed over the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ayun Pa Town Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to introduce him to the Ayun Pa Town People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the Town People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Standing Committee transferred Mr. Phan Ho Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, to work at the Department of Science and Technology.

Speaking at the decision-giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, the new Director of the Department of Transport of Gia Lai province, promised to strive to improve his qualities, uphold his pioneering and exemplary spirit, promptly approach new tasks; use all his abilities, intelligence, enthusiasm and work experience to work well in the new position. At the same time, he continued to uphold the spirit of solidarity, determination to inherit and effectively promote the achievements and experiences of previous periods to continue to successfully implement the targets and resolutions of superiors and of his unit.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Son was born in 1979, from Binh Dinh province. Master's degree, engineer specializing in Urban Roads. Advanced theoretical level.

In June 2002, Mr. Son was recruited to work at the Department of Investment and Construction Project Management, Department of Transport of Gia Lai province. From 2002 to 2016, Mr. Son worked as a specialist, deputy head of department, and head of department at the Department of Transport.

In March 2016, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee appointed Mr. Son as Deputy Director of the Department of Transport. In December 2020, the Provincial People's Committee transferred Mr. Son to work at Ayun Pa Town People's Committee and assigned him the position of Chairman of the People's Committee. Previously, on November 11, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee to transfer Doan Huu Dung, Director of the Department of Transport to join the Executive Committee of the Pleiku City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Pleiku City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to introduce him to the Pleiku City People's Council to elect him as Chairman of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Currently, the Board of Directors of the Department of Transport of Gia Lai province includes: Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Director; Mr. Ha Anh Thai and Mr. Tran Dinh Son hold the position of Deputy Directors.
