President visits and wishes a happy New Year to oil and gas workers in Vung Tau

After surveying and listening to the report on the achievements of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation, Politburo member and President Vo Van Thuong visited and presented gifts to encourage oil and gas workers in Vung Tau City.

On January 26, President Vo Van Thuong and his delegation visited and worked with the oil and gas industry at the port base of the Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) in Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province). During the visit, leaders of the oil and gas industry introduced to President Vo Van Thuong an overview of the port base and manufacturing yard of PTSC covering nearly 200 hectares in Vung Tau City as well as the results achieved in production and business activities and a number of projects that have been and are about to be implemented in the coming time. Accordingly, PTSC's consolidated revenue in 2023 is VND 20,224 billion (153% of the plan); consolidated profit before tax is VND 1,098 billion (141% of the plan); the proportion of revenue from providing services abroad in 2023 is over 55%...

The President acknowledged the achievements of PTSC, as well as visited and encouraged, and presented Tet gifts to businesses and workers in the oil and gas industry at the port base. Previously, President Vo Van Thuong and the delegation visited the central exploitation platform of Cuu Long JOC; at the same time, visited, presented gifts and Tet lucky money to workers working on the rig in the morning of the same day.
