(GLO)- On the afternoon of May 31, at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Nguyen Thai Hoc High School, the Chu Puh District Labor Federation (Gia Lai Province) coordinated with the District Culture-Information and Sports Center to close the 3rd District Sports Festival for officials, civil servants, and workers in 2023.
- The sports festival attracted more than 500 athletes from 18 grassroots unions. The athletes competed in 4 events, including: women's football, tug of war, sack jumping, and stick pushing. From May 26 to 31, the athletes upheld their responsibility for the mass sports movement, competing with all their might in the spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility.

The sports festival aims to celebrate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the 91st anniversary of the founding of Gia Lai province (May 24, 1932 - May 24, 2023), Workers' Month and the 94th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 2029 - July 28, 2023).
This is a playground for union members, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and grassroots trade unions to exchange sports with the motto "fun-healthy", contributing to the good implementation of the political tasks of agencies, units, enterprises and building strong grassroots trade unions, creating a joyful atmosphere in labor and work. At the same time, the Sports Festival also aims to continue to effectively implement the Campaigns "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".

At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 76 sets of medals to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements. Of these, there were 16 first prizes, 16 second prizes, 32 third prizes and 9 consolation prizes for athletes with high achievements in the competitions. The Organizing Committee also awarded the first prize to the Ia Blu Commune Labor Union.
