Right from the beginning of 2025, tax authorities at all levels in the province have quickly and synchronously deployed many solutions to ensure the completion of assigned tasks. With a proactive and drastic spirit, the Tax sector is focusing on exploiting revenue sources, promoting digital transformation in tax management, supporting businesses to restore production and business, and contributing revenue to the provincial budget.
Synchronous and drastic implementation
In early 2025, strictly implementing the direction of Phu Yen Tax Department, Tuy Hoa City Tax Department immediately started implementing the task of collecting state budget in the area. In particular, tax teams focused on supporting taxpayers, collecting fees, charges and other revenues on houses, land, etc.
Mr. Nguyen Van Y, Deputy Head of Tuy Hoa City Tax Department, said: In 2025, the City People's Committee assigned the estimated state budget revenue in the area to be 1,410 billion VND (of which, land use fee is 1,000 billion VND, total revenue minus land is 410 billion VND); Phu Yen Tax Department assigned the target of striving to collect 1,012 billion VND (land use fee is 600 billion VND, total revenue minus land is 412 billion VND).
To complete the assigned tasks, Tuy Hoa City Tax Department coordinated with the City Finance - Planning Department to calculate and advise the City People's Committee to assign the 2025 State budget revenue estimate to each department, local ward, commune and tax team.
After more than 1 month of implementation, by mid-February 2025, the total state budget revenue in Tuy Hoa city was 100 billion VND, reaching 36.9% of the estimate for the first quarter of 2025. Of which, the revenue minus land use fees was 60 billion VND, reaching 56.6% of the target for the first quarter of 2025; land use fees collected were 40 billion VND, reaching 24.2% of the target for the first quarter of 2025.
Right from the beginning of this year, the Dong Hoa Town Tax Department has also implemented the task of collecting the State budget in a drastic, urgent, synchronous and effective manner. Based on the 2025 State budget revenue estimate assigned by all levels, the Department has coordinated with the Dong Hoa Town Finance and Planning Department to advise the Town People's Committee to develop an implementation plan and assign specific and detailed tasks to each commune, ward and other relevant agencies and units to implement the collection. The Department has also proactively developed an action program to promptly and fully implement the tasks and solutions for collecting the State budget in 2025 in the town in accordance with the direction of the Phu Yen Tax Department and the Dong Hoa Town People's Committee.
“By the end of January 2025, the total state budget revenue in Dong Hoa town was 28.1 billion VND, reaching 32.7% of the target assigned by the Tax Department in the first quarter (86 billion VND), reaching 15.4% of the annual estimate assigned by the province (183 billion VND), reaching 15.2% of the town's 2025 target (185 billion VND) and reaching 12.2% of the target assigned by the Tax Department in the year (230 billion VND)”, said Mr. Huynh Van Tri, Deputy Head of the Dong Hoa Town Tax Department.
Strive to complete the assigned budget
According to Mr. Huynh Van Tri, to ensure the completion of the assigned targets for the first quarter, contributing to the completion of the 2025 budget estimate, in the coming time, Dong Hoa Town Tax Department will continue to closely follow and fully and synchronously deploy tasks and solutions to collect the State budget in 2025 in the area.
The Department also strictly manages the declaration and payment of taxes by enterprises and business households; coordinates with relevant agencies and units to review and grasp the revenue arising from construction projects and mineral exploitation projects in the area to urge the collection of arising taxes.
In addition, the department assigns specific debt collection tasks to each civil servant and each team to resolutely urge the collection and settlement of tax debts; promptly notify and urge the collection of financial obligations on land and other fees, charges, and other revenues... into the State budget.
“In addition, the Dong Hoa Town Tax Department continues to promote propaganda and mobilize taxpayers to comply with tax laws in the spirit of “Tax collection must win the hearts of the people”. At the same time, it resolutely implements tax inspection work to prevent tax losses in all areas”, Mr. Huynh Van Tri added.
In 2025, the Tuy An - Dong Xuan Tax Department was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to collect a budget of VND 187.4 billion, and the Tax Department assigned a target of VND 292 billion. A representative of this unit said that to complete the assigned budget this year, the Tuy An - Dong Xuan Tax Department will synchronously deploy tax collection management measures.

According to Phu Yen Tax Department, with drastic participation from the beginning of the year, Phu Yen Tax sector aims to exceed the budget revenue target in 2025. This is an important premise for the province to have more resources to invest in socio-economic development projects and works, contributing to improving people's lives.
