On February 18, the world's leading online travel platform TripAdvisor announced the ranking of the world's most beautiful beaches based on the number and quality of TripAdvisor comments posted by users from November 30, 2023 to December 1, 2024. With its impressive pink sand and turquoise waters, Elafonisi Beach in Crete, Greece topped the rankings. Followed by a representative from Southeast Asia, Banana Beach (Phuket, Thailand) and the pristine Eagle Beach (Oranjestad, Aruba), with fine white sand, warm waters and spectacular sunsets...

1. After a four-year absence, Elafonisi Beach (Crete, Greece) made a stunning return to the rankings, taking the top spot. With its pink sand and turquoise waters, Elafonisi Beach is one of those places that visitors must see for themselves, must visit to enjoy the crystal clear water and admire the long, smooth sand dunes. The advice from the platform: “If you come to Elafonisi, stay until sunset.”
