Mang Den town is located at an altitude of 1,200m above sea level, surrounded by primeval forests, pine forests and many lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls creating a unique landscape and cool air all year round.
Mang Den Market is a new activity organized by Kon Plong District in collaboration with Mang Den Tourism Association, starting from October 7 at the pine hill campus, Kon Plong District Central Square. The market was established to create a space to display local architecture, culture and cuisine, attract tourists, and promote tourism and trade services of the province.

The fair has more than 30 stalls of communes, towns and organizations and individuals doing business in the district. The stalls are decorated simply with available items, mainly bamboo, wood, brocade, bearing the identity of the local people.

The booths display and introduce typical products such as organic vegetables, grapefruit, oranges, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, medicinal herbs, medicinal products, traditional craft products and many other OCOP products for visitors to enjoy and buy.

Mang Den market takes place both day and night.
Many local specialties are sold such as village rice, grilled chicken with bamboo rice, dried buffalo, grilled village pig, grilled fish, grilled crab, buffalo croissant, wild bitter melon, bitter eggplant, wild bamboo shoots, chestnuts, and nia seeds. The market also has medicinal herbs such as ginseng, Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Ganoderma lucidum, green lim mushroom, wild honey, bamboo shoots, Chinese angelica, and angelica.

In the morning and afternoon, visitors can come here to enjoy the fresh air, learn about the architecture of communal houses, observe and experience activities such as weaving brocade, making croissants, and enjoying coffee.

Local people dressed in traditional costumes happily danced around the fire and sang.

Every Saturday evening, the market also hosts music performances from local and guest singers.

Rustic dishes such as potatoes, grilled corn, and hot milk will help dispel the chill of Mang Den in November.

A tourist enjoys local specialties at Mang Den market.

Do Do, a local working in tourism in Mang Den, has been to the market many times to meet many people in the cozy atmosphere, amidst melodious music. Many local people and local visitors also choose the market as their destination every weekend.
When it comes to markets, people often think of the northern mountainous provinces. Organizing a market in Mang Den could be a highlight that makes tourists curious and come to experience Mang Den in particular and the sunny and windy Central Highlands in general, said Mr. Do.
