TPO - Taking place from May 16 to 18, the second Hoai An District Agricultural Products Festival (Binh Dinh) gathered hundreds of delegates, experts, representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers. Here, 18 booths with 105 types of agricultural products of the locality and units in the province will be displayed, introduced, and promoted.
Hoai An is a midland, purely agricultural district, blessed by nature with favorable climate and soil conditions. The area of fruit trees with local strengths has grown strongly with more than 3,900 hectares. After the opening night taking place tonight (May 17), the festival will take place with activities such as: Competition on producing green-skinned grapefruit and some fruit trees in the direction of safe production, meeting VietGAP and organic certification standards; visiting some typical agricultural production models; announcing the Decision of the Department of Intellectual Property - Ministry of Science and Technology on granting product trademark registration certificates; announcing the decision to recognize the results of evaluation and classification of OCOP products in Hoai An district and granting star-rated OCOP certificates to the subjects; honoring collectives, individuals, and farming households with typical agricultural production models; especially displaying, introducing, and promoting 18 booths with 105 types of agricultural products of the locality and units in the province.
