At the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), Omoda & Jaecoo have officially launched the new 2025 Omoda C7 (also known as Omoda 7), after about a year of being introduced in China. Omoda C7 is the first model designed exclusively by the Omoda & Jaecoo brand duo for the international market only. |

Therefore, the car has its own style with a minimalist design. In terms of size, the Omoda C7 SUV has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,621 x 1,872 x 1,673 mm and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. With this size, the Omoda C7 is in the C-size SUV/CUV segment, along with the Honda CR-V and Hyundai Tucson. |

In terms of design, the Omoda C7 has a modern style, which is clearly shown through the front of the car, which is shaped like a shark's nose with a frameless grille similar to the new generation Lexus RX. Next to it are sharp, slim headlights and a rectangular central air intake similar to its "brother" the Omoda E5. |

Looking at the side of the car, the Omoda C7 uses traditional door handles instead of the hidden type that is popular in China. The car is equipped with 20-inch turbine alloy wheels. |

Notably, the steering wheel is inspired by the PlayStation 5 controller. According to the manufacturer, this design was designed to provide a convenient and enjoyable experience for the driver. The Omoda C7's central entertainment screen is 15.6 inches in size, has a 2.5K resolution and 1,000 nits of brightness. The special feature of this screen is that it can slide to the side, becoming a screen for the passenger. Some other impressive features include an interior fragrance system, a 12+2 speaker Sony sound system and noise cancellation technology. |

The Omoda C7 chassis is based on the Omoda 5 but is upgraded with dual hydraulic suspension and electronic brakes. In addition, the car is also equipped with up to 18 active safety features. |

The Omoda C7 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, including a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor and battery system. The company said the car can travel a maximum distance of 95 km in pure electric mode. |

In hybrid mode, the car has a fuel consumption of 4.89 liters / 100 km and a maximum travel distance of 1,250 km. The price of the Omoda C7 PHEV 2025 has not been officially announced in Thailand or Southeast Asia. It is predicted that this model will soon arrive in Vietnam. |
