Information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ba Dinh District Police (Hanoi City Police) said that the unit rescued 3 people in a family whose house caught fire on New Year's Eve.
On the morning of January 29 (the first day of Tet), a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ba Dinh District Police said that the unit had successfully rescued 3 people in a family whose house was on fire in Phuc Xa Ward.
Accordingly, at 0:07 a.m. the same day, the 114 Command Information Center - Hanoi City Police received a fire alarm at house number 9, lane 75, An Xa (Phuc Xa ward).
Upon receiving the news, the 114 Command Information Center dispatched 2 fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
The house that caught fire is 5 stories high, with an area of 46 square meters. The first floor is for storage; the second floor is for living room and kitchen; and the third, fourth, and fifth floors are for living rooms, a worship room, and a drying yard.
Authorities determined that the fire occurred in the attic on the 2nd floor, with a burning area of about 30 square meters.
When the authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered 3 people trapped. The fire commander mobilized officers and soldiers to rescue 3 people: D.TMH (born in 1980); NNT (born in 2004); NND (born in 2013).
A representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Ba Dinh District Police said that the fire did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being assessed.
The initial cause was determined to be suspected fireworks.
