From today (February 2), Hanoi Department of Transport will adjust traffic to serve the 236th anniversary of Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory (1789-2025) on Dang Tien Dong street, Tay Son - Trung Liet section.
Vehicles can travel in the following directions: Tay Son - Thai Ha - Trung Liet - Tran Quang Dieu - Vo Van Dung - Hoang Cau - Thai Ha - Tay Son and vice versa. Specifically, the Hanoi Department of Transport will adjust traffic organization from 6am - 6pm on February 2, 2025 to organize the festival.
During this time, automobiles will be banned from circulating on Dang Tien Dong Street from the intersection with Tay Son Street to the intersection with Trung Liet Street (except for buses and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's badge); bicycles and motorbikes will circulate normally.
Vehicles can go in the direction of the following streets: Tay Son - Thai Ha - Trung Liet - Tran Quang Dieu - Vo Van Dung - Hoang Cau - Thai Ha - Tay Son and vice versa.
People will be able to park their bicycles and motorbikes for free when attending the Dong Da Mound Festival.
During the time frame from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on February 2, 2025, the unit will organize traffic diversion to serve the live broadcast of the festival. During this time frame, the authorities prohibit all vehicles from circulating on Dang Tien Dong Street from the intersection with Tay Son Street to the intersection with Trung Liet Street (except buses and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's badge).

The Hanoi Department of Transport requested the People's Committee of Dong Da District to coordinate with functional units of the City Police to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for the organization of the festival and live broadcast of the 236th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory (1789-2025) on Dang Tien Dong Street (section from Tay Son - Trung Liet).
Every year, when spring comes, on the 5th day of the first lunar month, the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory Anniversary Festival is held to commemorate the great contributions of the hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, the generals, Tay Son insurgents and the people at that time who bravely fought against foreign invaders to protect the nation's independence.
This year, the Festival will be held for 3 days, from February 2-4, 2025 (ie from January 5-7, At Ty year 2025). During the Festival, there will be many special activities such as: Incense offering ceremony, sacrificial ceremony of local sacrificial groups; palanquin procession; lion dance, dragon dance performance; Binh Dinh Gia martial arts performance; chess and human chess competition; calligraphy writing, introduction of traditional arts...
The difference is that this year the 236th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory will be held on the evening of February 2, 2025 (the 5th day of the first lunar month) at Dong Da Cultural Park instead of in the morning like every year.
