Buying dozens of tons of white sand from Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa) to Soc Trang province, young man Lai Nhat Khoa turned the idea of a "beach cafe" in the heart of the city into reality.
Located in the heart of Soc Trang City (Soc Trang Province), the beach cafe of Lai Nhat Khoa (25 years old) is always crowded with customers. Most of the customers come here out of curiosity and want to experience the poetic artificial white sand beach.
The artificial beach was designed by Khoa with long stretches of white sand and emerald green water in the middle.
DUY TAN
Khoa said he has many years of experience in the beverage business. Realizing that Soc Trang City lacks a destination for families with small children to enjoy the sea and play in the sand, he came up with the idea of creating a beach cafe model.
"Through internet sites, I learned that there are models of swimming pools that imitate the sea abroad. However, in Vietnam, very few places do it. From there, I wanted to bring white sand from Nha Trang here for customers to experience a new coffee model," Khoa shared.
The beach cafe has an area of 2,500 m2, attracting a lot of customers to experience.
To realize the idea, Khoa spent more than 70 million VND to buy 50 tons of beach sand taken from Nha Trang, filtered out all the trash, shells, snails... and brought them back to Soc Trang. Here, Khoa created an artificial beach with a sand surface of about tens of centimeters thick, in the middle is a beautiful emerald green artificial beach. Around the artificial beach, there are camping chairs, umbrellas... At the same time, the music of the restaurant is the sound of murmuring ocean waves, which also creates an unforgettable impression on customers.
"My father and I researched and tested this model ourselves, working continuously for 2 months to complete and open before Tet. The shop is called Net Viet Coffee Garden, with an area of 2,500 m2, and has received positive responses from customers inside and outside the province since its launch," said Khoa.
Cleaning the indoor beach is also quite elaborate. Every day, the staff must regularly pick up trash, scoop sand from the bottom of the lake and recreate the landscape to welcome guests.
The drinks here are popular coastal soft drinks and coconut ice cream at affordable prices. Every day, the shop is crowded at two fixed times: early morning and late afternoon.

While drinking coffee, she can also play with sand as if she were at the beach. Ms. Huynh Tuyet Hong (20 years old, living in Soc Trang City) said she was impressed by this new and beautiful model. The beach right in the middle of the city looks very unique.
Immersing himself in the cool space and clear blue water, Mr. Le Nhat (33 years old, living in Can Tho City) said that this is one of the cafes designed to help customers experience the feeling of being at a real beach. What is impressive is that the surrounding area is covered with beautiful white sand beaches.
