Termination of employment with 13 teachers and staff using fake certificates

On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City (Lam Dong), said that he had just issued a document requesting the Department of Education and Training of Bao Loc City and 5 schools in the city to stop working with 13 people who used fake ethnic minority language certificates to be exempted from the English exam in the 2023 education civil servant recruitment exam. Among the 13 people above, there are 11 teachers, 1 accountant and 1 medical staff.

Previously, on December 2, 2023, Bao Loc City People's Committee organized the 2023 education civil servant recruitment exam. There were 382 qualified candidates participating in the exam for recruitment positions to fill 254 quotas.

However, by the end of December 2023, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City received a complaint related to the 2023 education civil servant recruitment exam. After that, the 2023 Education Civil Servant Recruitment Council reported the incident to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City. Specifically, 13 people used fake ethnic minority language certificates to be exempted from the English exam.

Regarding this incident, the leader of Bao Loc City assigned the City Police to investigate, clarify and handle the issuance, issuance and use of ethnic minority language certificates for 27 cases according to Official Dispatch No. 2282/SGDĐT-QLCL-GDTX dated December 8, 2023 of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province; in which 13 candidates used illegal ethnic minority language certificates to be exempted from the English exam in the 2023 education civil servant recruitment exam in Bao Loc City.
