The race passes through Ky Anh - Ha Tinh
On April 10, stage 7 of the national cycling race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup (HTV) - Ton Dong A 2025 took place from Vinh City ( Nghe An ) to Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh) with the longest route of the tournament - 197.5 km.
Crossing Ngang Pass, racer Bui Duy Tung ( Hanoi ) successfully attacked and finished first at the top of the pass, thereby winning the red dot jersey for the "king of mountain climbing".
Nick Kergozou claimed his third win after finishing first on stage 7.
Meanwhile, in the large group behind, the strong teams kept a tight grip to defend their individual titles. Near the finish line, teams 620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long and 620 Nong Nghiep Vinh Long combined to pull the group together to support foreign player Nick Kergozou - who later crossed the finish line first thanks to a strong sprint.
This is the New Zealand racer's third stage victory, helping him maintain the Green Jersey and increase the points gap with his opponents.
The second and third places in stage 7 were Nguyen Van Binh (HCMC New Group) and Nguyen Tan Hoai (Loc Troi An Giang Group) respectively. With this result, Tan Hoai continued to hold the Orange Jersey for the best performing Vietnamese racer and increased the gap to 5 seconds compared to his competitors.
In the remaining titles, Loic Desriac (Domesco Pharmacy Dong Thap) still holds the Yellow Jersey after 7 stages, while Dang Van Phap (620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long) successfully defended the White Jersey for the outstanding young racer.
At the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung - Director of Dai Nguyen Joint Stock Company, distributor of Ton Dong A - awarded scholarships worth 20 million VND to students in difficult circumstances in Quang Binh.
On April 11, the racers entered stage 8 from Dong Hoi City to Hue City with a length of 171.5 km.
