Over the years, the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. has always promoted its role as a bridge between employees and enterprises, taking good care of the material and spiritual life as well as protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees, helping union members feel secure in their work and production, and successfully completing assigned tasks.

Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. Nguyen Huu Quang said: Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% Japanese-invested enterprise, specializing in processing garment products for export, currently has 12,600 union members in 17 factories and 4 union groups. Right from the early days of its establishment, the union has clearly defined its role as a reliable support for cadres and employees, and at the same time a bridge to create a harmonious relationship between employees and enterprises. From the above goal, the Executive Committee of the Union has gradually concretized the movement into specific actions, always putting the interests of employees first.

The grassroots trade union joins the enterprise in amending the labor regulations in accordance with the provisions of current law and the production situation of the enterprise, based on the aspirations of the employees; regularly organizes dialogues at the workplace to promptly grasp the aspirations of the employees to prevent collective work stoppages or illegal strikes. Negotiate with the employer to sign a collective labor agreement, with many provisions more favorable than the law for the employees. Specifically, the company increases the meal allowance by 17,000 VND/person/day; supports raising small children by 50,000 VND/child/month; supports foreign language allowances from 500,000 VND to 5 million VND; adjusts the increase in seniority from 100,000 VND - 800,000 VND/month; 13th month salary bonus for employees equal to one month's basic salary of each person, pay 300% annual leave for employees who have not taken all the annual leave days according to regulations and pay social insurance for employees on time...

In addition, the CT union coordinated with the board of directors to organize and launch patriotic emulation movements, with the main objectives being to mobilize cadres, union members, and workers to unite and strive to exceed the production and business plan targets of the enterprise. The emulation movements have really brought about practical results, making important contributions to improving productivity and product quality, increasing income and improving working conditions, and promoting the dynamism and creativity of workers.

From 2023 to present, workers' initiatives have benefited the enterprise by over 6.8 billion VND. Four outstanding union members with many technical innovation initiatives in production have been awarded the Creative Labor Certificate and the Nguyen Duc Canh Award by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. A typical example is Mr. Hoang Van Giang, a raw material management staff who is at the forefront of innovation, technical innovation, and improving labor productivity for the unit. In more than 10 years of working at the enterprise, Mr. Giang has had more than 10 technical innovation initiatives, improving production efficiency, creating new vitality for the movement to promote initiatives and technical innovation, bringing high profits to the enterprise. He is one of two outstanding workers and laborers of Thanh Hoa province to be commended and rewarded by the Prime Minister at the Forum "Improving national labor productivity and quality" in 2024.

After 15 years of construction and development, the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. has built a strong trade union organization that always holds a central position and is a bridge between employees and enterprises. The State's policies and regimes are fully, promptly and in accordance with regulations by the Company, thanks to which union members and employees are assured of working and production, and have a spirit of long-term commitment to the enterprise.

With outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements, Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd.'s Trade Union was awarded the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation.
