Vietory Company Limited in Hiep An Ward (Kinh Mon) is a 100% Taiwanese-owned enterprise specializing in manufacturing sports shoes for export orders to the US and many European countries. On average, each year, the unit exports about 650,000 pairs of shoes according to orders. This enterprise currently has 2 transformer stations, with an electricity consumption of more than 9.5 million kWh/year.

“At the end of the year, the unit’s orders increased by about 20% and the annual plan was urgently completed, so the demand for electricity increased. In recent years, the coordination between the enterprise and Kinh Mon Electricity has been closely implemented, with periodic inspections to detect and correct defects, ensuring a continuous and safe power source in production. We hope that Hai Duong Electricity Company will provide a stable and continuous power source, support us in checking the power grid system, promptly detecting damage for repair,” said Mr. Kim Chang Sheng, Director of Vietory Company Limited.

Power supply guarantee

Hai Duong Electricity requires district-level electricity to closely follow production plans to have a plan to provide stable and continuous power to serve customers' production and business.

To ensure a stable power supply, district-level power companies focus resources on investing in building grid infrastructure. At the same time, they strengthen coordination in inspecting customers' grid systems, promptly overcoming limitations, and ensuring a stable and continuous power supply.

“To meet the high demand for electricity at the end of the year, Hai Duong City Power has implemented many solutions to ensure stable and continuous power supply for customers such as general inspection of the power grid, thoroughly handling defects in lines and equipment, and replacing transformers at risk of being overloaded. The unit also regularly inspects customers' equipment, grasps the demand for electricity according to customers' production plans to develop power supply plans, and combines periodic inspections to ensure that machinery and equipment always operate in the best conditions,” said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Deputy Director of Hai Duong City Power.

As a locality with many large customers using electricity for production and business, Kinh Mon Power Company focuses on investing in upgrading the power grid system in the area. According to the report, from the beginning of the year to December 20, Kinh Mon Power Company energized 11 transformer stations to prevent overload; buried 1,956 m of underground cables, reduced 54 violations of the power grid safety corridor, and minimized the risk of unsafety for power lines... In addition, the unit periodically checks day and night with thermal cameras and flycams to detect and handle defects on the power grid.

“The end of the year is the peak time for electricity use, especially for production and business customers, so the unit has urgently completed construction and repair projects; limited power outages for planned repairs at the end of the year to minimize the impact on customers,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Deputy Director of Kinh Mon Electricity.

According to the report, in 2024, Hai Duong Power Company has completed energizing 24/24 projects. All 110kV grid construction investment projects have started and are being implemented on schedule. 36 medium-low voltage grid projects, 21 medium-voltage grid projects, 12 overload prevention projects and 3 low-voltage projects have been constructed and energized as planned.

Hai Duong Power is working with consultants to survey and design, and plan to start construction of 4 projects and put 3 projects into the investment preparation plan for 2025.

Hai Duong Electricity also proactively mobilizes human resources, means, materials, and equipment to be ready to handle unusual incidents occurring on the grid; arranges reasonable power supply methods to safely operate the grid under normal conditions and flexibly switch in different situations...
