On the afternoon of September 24, the Department of Overseas Labor Management (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs) said that recently, despite repeated warnings and recommendations from authorities, there are still cases of brokers and fraud in working in Korea.
Among them, there is a group that wants to work seasonally in agriculture under the E8 visa.
The Department confirmed that sending seasonal workers to Korea under E8 visas is due to direct cooperation between provinces and cities of Vietnam and Korea.
The list includes 17 places including Da Nang, Dong Thap, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Thua Thien - Hue, Ca Mau, Quang Binh, Hau Giang, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Nam Dinh, Dak Lak, Yen Bai, Lam Dong, Bac Lieu and Phu Yen.
The selection, documentation, procedures and sending of workers to Korea are carried out by local authorities, not by any other agency.
The Department of Overseas Labor Management recommends that those who want to work in Korea under the E8 visa seasonal labor program should only contact the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs or the Department's Employment Service Center at their place of residence.

“Workers need to find out specific information, absolutely do not listen to unofficial advertisements and do not contact intermediary organizations or individuals or brokers,” the Department of Overseas Labor Management stated.
