Singer Duong Quoc Hung was loved by the audience after Sao Mai Diem Hen 2006. He has devoted himself to pursuing the country's folk music until now.

On the evening of April 14, Duong Quoc Hung released the album Thanh am dat nuoc and the EP Thanh pho thang minh co dat nuoc.

Refreshing folk music with traditional instruments

The album Thanh am dat nuoc belongs to the project Tinh ca truc ton toan quoc, which was launched by Duong Quoc Hung in 2010. The album includes nine songs praising the fighting spirit and sacrifice for independence and freedom of previous generations.

They are the songs "The sound of the monochord " (composed by Nguyen Dinh Phuc), "The country" (Pham Minh Tuan), "The bridge connecting the banks of joy " (Van An), "The young grass of the ancient citadel " (Tan Huyen), "My mother" (Xuan Hong), " The song of unification" (Vo Van Di), "The stars at night" (Phan Huynh Dieu), "Spring of love" (Vy Nhat Tao) and "The melody of the Fatherland" (Tran Tien).

"Since childhood, Hung has listened to many genres of music, but traditional music of his homeland always brings something special. That belief and pride every time he sings and listens to revolutionary music gives Hung more strength and positive energy.

Renovating a song is not easy, but Hung finds it an interesting challenge. Hung also experiments with adding new genres of music to traditional songs, such as using Epic music combined with traditional instruments to create something new.

Hung also combines with EDM electronic music to create new and more exciting sounds for listeners, meeting the music tastes of many audiences.
