On the afternoon of June 7, the Party Executive Committee of Can Loc district held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 36th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. Implementing the Resolution of the 36th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, the Party Committee and authorities from the district to the grassroots level in Can Loc have focused on leading and directing the assigned political tasks, achieving quite comprehensive results in all fields. The Congress set out 29 targets, of which 24 have been exceeded and achieved so far.

The arrangement and consolidation of the apparatus and personnel work were carried out in accordance with procedures and regulations, in a streamlined manner. The Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work continued to be strengthened and had many innovations and effectiveness.
Since the beginning of the term, the entire district has admitted 377 outstanding people into the Party. The implementation of Party discipline has ensured that the Party's guidelines and policies are strictly, accurately and promptly implemented according to regulations.
The study and implementation of directives and resolutions of the Central, the province and the district were carried out seriously and with quality. During the term, the district organized 89 thematic dialogues between leaders of Party committees at all levels and the people.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Vo Xuan Linh reported on the mid-term assessment of the implementation results of the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
The work of governmental mass mobilization and democracy practice has been increasingly expanded and promoted. Since the beginning of the term, the district has built 356 gratitude houses with a total amount of over 17.3 billion VND; presented 68,893 gifts to children, the poor, and households affected by natural disasters worth over 30.2 billion VND.
Average income per capita reached 54.03 million VND (an increase of 11.9 million VND compared to 2021). Agricultural production continued to develop, with the total cultivated area in 2023 estimated at 20,786 hectares (an increase of 437 hectares compared to 2020). It is expected that by 2025, the total food output will reach 107,000 tons, exceeding the target set by the congress.
Can Loc is the leading locality in the province in implementing the land concentration project. Up to now, the district has converted and concentrated 3,302 hectares, accounting for 36% of the district's rice production area.
Regarding the construction of new rural areas, Can Loc currently meets 21/38 criteria for advanced new rural districts. The whole district has 1 commune meeting the model new rural standard, 6/16 communes meeting the advanced new rural standard, 113/159 model residential villages, 2,299 model gardens and 26 OCOP products.
Secretary of the Thuan Thien Commune Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hien discussed the content of land concentration and formation of large-scale fields.

At the conference, delegates frankly pointed out the remaining problems and suggested many solutions for Can Loc to perform well its tasks in the coming time.

Focus on reviewing and rearranging the team of leaders and managers, creating momentum for the next term.
Continue to promote investment attraction for projects in the area; effectively promote land accumulation and site clearance for projects in the area, especially the North-South expressway project.
Focus on promoting tourism and cultural values; improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and people's health care; effectively implement social security and sustainable poverty reduction; continue to promote administrative reform.
Mobilize maximum resources, strive to build Can Loc to become an advanced new rural district before 2025 as set out in the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.
District Party Secretary Nghiem Sy Dong accepted the opinions and at the same time assigned tasks to all levels and sectors to implement from now until the end of the term.
