Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên20/02/2025

Born into a farming family in Bac Giang, Tran Viet Hung had to face many difficulties since childhood due to congenital cerebral palsy. All of Viet Hung's personal activities had to rely on the support of his family. When he grew up, he suffered from many other incurable diseases, but due to limited economic conditions, treatment became even more difficult.

The inspirational story of Mr. Tran Viet Hung is told in Love Station.

Not giving up on his fate, Mr. Hung always nurtured the hope for a better future. Although he had to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life, he was determined to learn and find a job to support himself. In particular, fate brought him to meet Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - a blind woman with a heart full of love. Two people with similar circumstances decided to come together and build a happy home.

Every day, they make a living by opening a coffee shop at home. Although their income is small, thanks to their hard work, they still try to provide their two children with the fullest life possible. In addition, Hung also learns how to repair computers and download music for mobile phones to earn extra income. His extraordinary determination and spirit of constantly improving have helped him become a role model in the disabled community.

Realizing the potential of information technology in supporting people with disabilities, Mr. Hung has proactively learned and actively participated in the activities of the Association of People with Disabilities of Bac Giang Province. He not only inspires life but also supports many people in the same situation as him to access technology tools to create job opportunities.

In 2020, he was honored to receive a certificate of merit for his outstanding achievements in the youth movement of the Lang Giang District Youth Union. Mr. Hung also regularly participates in the "Spreading the will to live" forums, sharing his experiences of overcoming difficulties and valuable lessons from his own life.

Not only is the love story of Hung and Lan an example of perseverance, it also touches many people. Initially, when they decided to be together, they encountered many difficulties due to their limited financial situation and physical disabilities. However, love and sympathy helped them overcome everything.

There are days when selling sugarcane juice makes only 30,000 - 50,000 VND profit, but the couple is still happy to have each other. They share every moment of life together, support each other in work and take care of their children. Two lives depend on each other in a simple but cozy home. "Just seeing the smiles of my wife and children gives me the motivation to keep trying," Mr. Hung shared.

In addition to Hung's sharing, the audience will also meet Lan, his wife who has built a small family with him. Their love story will be told in depth, from the first impressions to the difficulties they have overcome together.

Ms. Lan is also a companion and encouragement for Mr. Hung to be able to step firmly into the future, from the desire to develop his career to helping people in similar situations. "I hope to open a free information technology class for people with disabilities, so that they have more opportunities to rise up in life," Mr. Hung expressed.

The story of determination and love of Mr. Tran Viet Hung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan with the theme "Never stop moving forward" will be shared on the program Love Station at 10:00 on February 22 on VTV1 channel.
