Khang (Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quynh) assured the police that he had told the whole truth about the incident related to Binh Phat Group. He affirmed that he had no intention of profiting and always obeyed the law. After the investigation, the police announced that there was no evidence that Khang had any personal interests related to Binh Phat Group. The police also determined that all the work he did during his working period was in accordance with the principles. Therefore, Khang was not prosecuted and could go home.
However, because the case is still under investigation, Khang is not allowed to leave his residence. However, this is still good news for him, because he was not arrested as he was worried. Meanwhile, Hoang was discovered by the police for the violations he had hidden for so long.

Leaving the police station, Khang immediately called his wife to tell her the good news. Hieu (NSUT Ba Anh) heard the news and was very happy for his sister's family. Hieu advised Thuan (Huyen Sam): "From now on, you have to change, be more open and share more with Khang, so that it will be easier for husband and wife to confide in each other."

At home, Phuong's spirit has improved a lot. She has become more open and close to her mother, no longer afraid or hating studying like before. Phuong's essay for her mother even got the highest score in the class. After all the misunderstandings, Phuong loves and cares for her mother more than ever. Thuan also understands how to love her child properly.

Regarding Thuan's depression, the doctor said that her mental state has improved significantly. The good news is that Thuan has agreed to share her problems with her husband and go to see a psychologist with him. The doctor also reminded Khang to pay more attention and care for his wife, because this will help Thuan recover completely.
Khang promised his wife: "From now on, I will be the best medicine for you."

Ms. Truc (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy), after learning about her illness, decided not to have surgery. Hieu was very surprised and did not agree, because the doctors affirmed that surgery was the best way to remove the blood clot in her brain. However, Ms. Truc was worried that a failed surgery could leave her in a vegetative state.

Mrs. Truc confided to her children: “Everyone has to come to the end of their lives, but I don’t want to live a miserable life, a useless life, and make my children and grandchildren suffer. I only worry that you will have conflicts because of me, then quarrel, and hurt each other. I just hope that you will love and help each other, that you will grow up and maintain the family tradition.”
Regarding the gold that her grandmother left for Trang (Hoai Anh), Mrs. Truc continued to convince Hieu to allow Trang to keep the gold as a dowry. Hieu admitted that he had previously been extremely negative after his failed marriage with Trang's biological mother. However, he now realized that his child needed love from both sides of the family.
Hieu said: “Because of the torment of the past, I forgot that both Trang and I deserve to be loved. I understand that we cannot prevent or force others to live according to our wishes.”
After talking with his mother, Hieu agreed to let Trang keep the gold. This made Mrs. Truc very happy.
Mr. Tung unexpectedly met his son at the bus station. It turned out that Mrs. Truc had informed his son that he was returning to Hanoi today. After years of hard work, Mr. Tung's son realized his unfilial behavior and apologized to his father. He promised that he would try to change.

“I don't just want to apologize. I want you to see that I'm changing,” he insisted.
Mr. Tung heard that, nodded, and seemed to have forgiven his son: "You have reconsidered and changed, which is good for you. Try to live a decent life."
His son rented a small apartment for both father and son to live in, this was his way of showing that he could become a good person.
After deciding not to have surgery, Mrs. Truc returned home to celebrate her birthday with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Every year, on her birthday, she usually cooks pho or bun thang for her family. However, this year, her children decided to organize it for her themselves.

Mrs. Truc's birthday wish is very simple: she just hopes her children and grandchildren will always be healthy and love each other.
Finally, Mrs. Truc and Mr. Tung, after many years of broken promises, were able to live happily together in their old age. Mr. Tung boldly said to Mrs. Truc: “Give me your hand, I will lead you the rest of your life.”

Mrs. Truc's illness also had hope when she was treated by a Professor Khang knew. This professor affirmed that her illness could be treated without surgery, bringing a happy ending to Mrs. Truc's family.
