The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB - China) announced on April 8 a partnership with Traveloka, Southeast Asia's leading travel platform.

Through this application, Hong Kong has the opportunity to introduce Hong Kong’s tourism services, beauty and charm to visitors across Southeast Asia, as well as the experiences that the city has to offer. This collaboration will further promote tourism growth in Hong Kong, and make Hong Kong a top destination for Southeast Asian tourists.

Mr. Caesar Indra, President of Traveloka, shared about the partnership with HKTB: "Hong Kong is one of the most popular destinations on our platform, with flight ticket sales to the city increasing fourfold in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year. The partnership between Traveloka and HKTB will further strengthen our efforts to promote global destinations on the platform, and encourage travelers to explore new experiences."

Ms Liew Chian Jia, HKTB's Regional Director for Southeast Asia, said: "The partnership with Traveloka is very important to us, as it unlocks the tourism potential in Hong Kong, and helps us understand consumers better. Therefore, we look forward to this partnership not only to attract more visitors from Southeast Asia to explore the charm of Hong Kong, but also to contribute positively to the aviation and hotel industries in the region."
