This year’s high school graduation exam will take place on June 26-27. According to the Ministry of Education and Training’s instructions, candidates will start registering for the exam from April 21 to 5pm on April 28.
Before that, candidates have 4 days to register for the test online, from April 15 to 18.
Details of important milestones of the 2025 high school graduation exam that candidates need to remember:

2025 is the year when the first batch of students following the new general education program will take the high school graduation exam. Candidates will take the exam in 4 subjects instead of 6 as before. The two compulsory subjects are Math and Literature; the two optional subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, Economics and Law Education, Information Technology, Technology and Foreign Languages (English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean). This is the first time that Information Technology and Technology (Industry, Agriculture) have become graduation exams.
Regarding the formula for calculating graduation scores, exam scores account for 50%; the rest is the grade 10, 11 and 12 transcript scores (50%) and priority points if any. Compared to before, the transcript score increased by 20%.
The high school graduation exam results were announced on July 16, one day earlier than last year.
